BPI (British Recorded Music Industry) Limited

CLA is owned by authors and publishers and protects the value of their creativity by enabling them to get a fair reward when their works are copied. CLA does this by licensing organisations to copy articles and extracts from books, journals, magazines and digital titles.

DACS is the UK's leading copyright and collecting society for artists and visual creators, helping them receive recognition and reward for their work.

Educational Recording Agency
On behalf of its Members ERA operates a Licensing Scheme for educational use of copyright material. Uniquely serving the UK educational sector, ERA is one of a range of collecting societies which help copyright owners and performers derive an income from the licensed use of their literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works.

Entertainment Retailers Association
The Entertainment Retailers Association is a UK trade organisation formed specifically to act as a forum for the retail and wholesale sectors of the music, video, DVD and Multimedia products industry. It communicates and negotiates with government departments and local authorities on behalf of its members, monitors legislation affecting its members and opposes any legislation which might be contrary to members’ interests.

The Federation Against Copyright Theft is the UK’s leading trade organisation established to protect and represent the interests of its members’ Intellectual Property (IP). Established in 1983, FACT works closely with statutory law enforcement agencies to combat all forms of piracy and members include global and UK film distributors, TV broadcasters and sport rights owners.

The VSC is a not-for-profit organisation which oversees a code of practice designed to promote high standards in the video and computer game industries.
